Travel Coordinator

$55,000 to $68,000 Austin, TX Full-Time Hybrid

Our leadership team lives between Miami, Austin, and Dallas. You are the person who makes that work by booking it, sequencing it, and fixing it when a flight goes down at 6am. If travel logistics are the kind of puzzle you actually enjoy, this is a good seat.

You will not be doing this from behind a wall of process. Our owners are hands-on and they travel constantly, so you will be talking to them directly all day long. We run this place like a family, and the person in this seat becomes part of it fast.

What You'll Do

  • Book and manage executive travel. Flights, hotels, and ground transport for leadership moving between properties, often on short notice and often changing mid-trip.
  • Build itineraries. Produce clean, single-source itineraries that account for real travel time, property walk-throughs, and meetings, not just the flight numbers.
  • Own vendor relationships. Airlines, hotel partners, chauffeur and private car services, and corporate rate programs. You negotiate, you maintain, and you hold vendors to their commitments.
  • Handle disruptions. Cancellations, delays, and last-minute changes get resolved by you before they become someone else's problem.
  • Track travel spend. Reconcile bookings against budget, flag patterns, and find savings without downgrading the experience.
  • Support guest and owner travel. Occasional coordination for property owners and VIP guests arriving at MC Luxe properties.

What We're Looking For

  • 1 to 2 years in travel or hospitality coordination. Corporate travel, an agency, a hotel front office, or a comparable operations role.
  • Familiarity with booking platforms. A GDS, a corporate travel tool, or direct-booking systems. If you know one well, you can learn ours.
  • Detail discipline. A wrong airport code or a missed time zone costs a real day. Accuracy is the whole job.
  • Calm under pressure. Things break. You handle it without escalating the emotion along with the problem.
  • Clear communicator. You can tell an executive what changed and what you already did about it in three sentences.
  • Availability for occasional off-hours contact when someone is mid-trip.

Do Not Count Yourself Out

If you do not tick every box up there, apply anyway. We would rather bring in someone who genuinely wants a better path and train them properly than hold out for the longest resume in the pile. Most of the people who have done well here did not arrive knowing everything.

Training is paid and it is part of the job, not a favor. Show up wanting to learn and we will do our part.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with luxury or VIP travel standards.
  • Existing relationships with hotel or ground-transport partners in Miami, Austin, or Dallas.
  • Working knowledge of corporate travel policy and expense reconciliation.

Benefits & Growth

  • Paid training. You are on the clock from day one while you learn the role. Nobody here is asked to get up to speed on their own time.
  • 401(k). Retirement plan available to full-time employees.
  • We promote from inside first. When a seat opens up we look at our own people before we post it anywhere. If you want a path, there is one here.
  • Direct access to the owners. No layers between you and the people making the decisions.

Compensation & Details

The base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $68,000, depending on experience. Full-time, based in Austin, TX, on a hybrid schedule. You will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the VP and report into operations.
